Frequently asked questions
If your question is not here, ask us from the help section of your dashboard and a person will answer.
Accounts
Do I need an account to look around?+
No. Search, the course catalogue, teacher profiles and every listing page are open to everyone. You only need an account when you want to download, buy, enrol in a batch, or publish something of your own.
Is there a separate sign-up for teachers?+
No — there is one registration form for everybody. Every new account starts as a student. When you want to teach or sell, you apply from your dashboard and a moderator reviews the application.
Who can see my profile?+
You choose. A profile can be public (visible to anyone, including search engines), registered-only (visible to people with an EduXbd account), or hidden (visible only to you and the EduXbd team). New accounts start hidden. Your email address, phone number and date of birth are never shown on a public profile.
I forgot my password. What now?+
On the log-in page, type your email address and tap “Forgot password?”. If an account exists for that address we email you a reset link.
Buying & downloading
How do I buy something?+
Open the listing, check the preview and the reviews, then use the purchase panel on the right. You log in, pay, and the file becomes available to download straight away. Everything you have bought is listed in your dashboard under My orders.
Which payment methods are supported?+
EduXbd is built for Bangladeshi payments — mobile financial services such as bKash and Nagad, plus card and bank options through the payment gateway. Every price on the site is in Bangladeshi taka.
Can I get a refund?+
Digital files are hard to un-download, so refunds are not automatic. If a file is not what the listing described, is unreadable, or is missing pages, report it within 7 days and the EduXbd team will investigate and refund where the complaint is justified.
How long do I keep what I buy?+
Purchases stay in your account. If a seller later unpublishes a listing you already bought, you keep your copy — it stays downloadable from your orders page.
Selling & teaching
Who can sell on EduXbd?+
Any account can apply to publish study material — you do not have to be a teacher to sell notes you made yourself. Selling full courses and running live batches requires the teacher application, which includes identity and qualification checks.
How much does EduXbd take?+
A flat platform commission of 25% on each sale. You keep 75% of every taka. There is no listing fee, no monthly fee and no exclusivity — you can sell the same notes elsewhere if you want.
When and how do I get paid?+
Earnings collect in your dashboard as orders complete. You request a payout to bKash, Nagad, Rocket or a bank account, and the EduXbd finance team processes it. Every sale, commission line and payout is itemised on your earnings page.
Why was my listing rejected?+
Nothing goes live until a human has read it. The usual reasons for rejection are copyrighted books or publisher material uploaded without permission, scanned solution manuals, unreadable scans, misleading titles, or a listing that does not match its description. The rejection reason is shown on the listing so you can fix it and resubmit.
Safety & trust
How do you stop fake teachers?+
Applying to teach means submitting your national ID or passport, your institution, and your degree or qualification certificates. A member of the EduXbd team reviews every application by hand. Verification documents are stored privately and are never shown on your public profile.
Something on the site is wrong — how do I report it?+
Every listing and every profile has a Report link. Pick a reason, add anything useful, and it goes straight into the moderation queue. Reports about copyright and inappropriate content are looked at first.
